I wrote The Cost of Weaponized Government and Lawfare to preserve the factual record regarding the genesis and consequences of fraud, weaponization, lawfare, the Deep State, and institutional corruption in government. I was labeled extremely effective, garnered attention, and became a main target of the Deep State, weaponized government, and lawfare because of my efforts.

The Deep State, weaponization, and lawfare are well integrated and synchronized within government and have contributed between 30% and 50% of the national debt. I discovered this as part of my duties as a cost analyst in the Department of Defense (DoD).

I was an engineer in an oversight (watchdog) position at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), overseeing DoD contracts at Lockheed Martin. In effect, I was the bookkeeper and central focal point for data. I had access to an array of internal financial data, cost data, engineering data, production data/statistics, etc.

My job was to analyze cost proposals and weed out price gouging, fraud, overcharges, etc., and then reconstruct a proposal that was fair to taxpayers, protected government interests, and could succeed in contract negotiations.

I became a whistleblower because the falsification I witnessed, at the expense of the government and taxpayers, was more than I could take. There were cover-ups enabling waste, fraud, and abuse at an

alarming rate. Public safety issues and military readiness were also affected. There was direct obstruction of efforts to protect taxpayer interests and national security. I meticulously documented the evidence trail for more than 26½ years as events unfolded.

The information gathered forms an overwhelming inventory of corruption, weaponization, and lawfare. My whistleblowing disclosures had to be serialized because of the volume of corruption I was exposing and substantiating. My success riled the Deep State to the point of derangement, as evidenced by the absurd and desperate methods used to bring about my demise.

Accounts of the retaliatory acts against me also had to be serialized because of their volume. There were 13 retaliatory acts, termed “Falsified Trails,” intended to discredit me. Falsified Trail 3 of 13 was the flagship case and included 20 government attorneys, along with another seven senior officials at the director and command levels. The Deep State was deranged to that level.

A division within the DoD Inspector General (DoD IG) was created specifically for my case, and there is a documented instance of a government attorney flying in for a special meeting about me. A briefing on my case was presented at the Pentagon level in 2005 to then-Acting Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon

England.

My mentor was Arthur Ernest Fitzgerald, a well-known whistleblower dating back to the Nixon era. Nixon fired him at one point, although he was later reinstated.

My situation created the “perfect storm” for documenting government corruption: I was an extremely effective whistleblower who also served as the bookkeeper; I worked with Congress, including Senators Grassley and McCain; I substantiated allegations; I was aligned with Ernie Fitzgerald; I was publicly known; and I had some news media support. The Deep State’s efforts against me left a wide trail that added to the cache of evidence regarding institutional government corruption.

The evidence shows that oversight organizations enable institutional corruption and provide insulation that protects wrongdoers.

The final step is educating the public and the news media while gaining the attention of Congress and the President to enact the remedy.

The point is that a series of op-ed articles is necessary because of the vast nature and depth of government corruption, weaponization, and lawfare. Overcoming the influence of the Deep State, politics, and cover-ups is a challenge best addressed through evidence that allows the public to form informed opinions.

The series will show how government really works and how the national debt, driven by weaponized

government and lawfare, affects programs such as Social Security, Medicare, defense, and many others. Only then, with the facts, can informed opinions and decisions be made.

facilitate a lasting remedy. However, the public needs to be engaged.
