On/about 1848, Frederic Bastiat, a French economist, stated: “When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.” In modern terms, this is known as weaponized government and lawfare, tactically initiated, enabled, and insulated by the Deep State to circumvent the law.
